So how do I change the Users & Groups/File Sharing password? I have set all the privileges correctly on all HD's. I have ditched prefs and restarted.
Did you delete Users & Groups Data File Users & Groups CP Prefs ? You may need to turn filesharing off, delete these and reboot.
Also cannot open Network Browser on either my G4 Desktop, or Tiebook, should I be able to?
Yes, the network browser is independent of the file sharing. This might indicate that something else is amiss.
