Help, I am having problems trying to print any documents from any applications. I am running OS 9.1 on Imac DV and my printer is a Canon S800 photo printer. Every time I want to print I have to either re-choose the printer from chooser and if that doesn't work I have to re-start the computer. The printer dialogue box says preparing to print and then nothing at all. Every time I open chooser the printer never stays selected.
Is the date on your computer staying correct? It might be that your machine's PRAM battery is going flat if you haven't had it replaced since you bought the machine.
