hi all some time ago I asked for advise re: renaming utilities. I got many replies, and found the best suggestion for my needs to be file buddy.
Now I have photoshop 7 and this includes the best & simplest file-renaming routine I've seen... logical even! Contained within the batch-processing command, muchus recommendus. Greg
