Hi...
Some friends of mine are after some spare hardware, namely:
3 PCs (all ethernet) capable of running Windows 2000 at a reasonable
rate and 5 macs of post G3 233 era (would love OSX capable but that
maybe pushing it.
Ideally they'd like
1) old machines
2) contacts to people with old machines
3) other good ideas for getting old or new machines
They're setting up a research laboratory and need some more
equipment, but the money is tight (ah, Science in Australia!)
What do you get out of this I hear?
That nice feeling down in the cockles and, if I can swing it, a tax
deduction for making a donation to a scientific institute (still
finding out about this).
Oh anybody who comes up with a really smashing plan gets a name
plaque somewhere in the lab.
