Hi all, A friend of mine has a fairly new iBook running OS X. Yesterday, she was using it to surf the net, then shut it down, however later when she went to start it up, it is hanging at "searching directory services" and is still doing so.
I'm by no means an expert on OSX - does anyone else have any ideas on what could have gone wrong and how she might fix it? Or is it time for a system reinstall... Thanks, Meg
