I'm creating a document using Appleworks on a PM7300 with OS9.1.
Periodically, I need to change portions of the text (which are located
all over the place) by applying a standard format. I apply the format by
running a macro. The problem comes from having to select the first piece
of text, run the macro, then select the next piece of text, run the macro
etc.
Does anyone know a way to select multiple pieces of text within an
Appleworks document?
You can't, AFAIK it doesn't support multiple selections.
If you know in advance what sections you're going to have to change
(ie headings etc.) you can use AppleWorks' custom styles, and then
all you have to do is change the style specification to change all
the headings in one hit.
