I don't know what happened in your case, but have a careful look at the 
bottom of your mail window. It probably shows a thick glassy border 
with 3 very thin horizontal lines in the middle of it. Double click 
this, and you'll find that it is actually the divider line, which will 
spring back to its proper position in the middle of the window. You can 
also just drag it back into position. Double click it again and it will 
collapse again. I know this doesn't explain what happened when you 
clicked the ilisten link, but then perhaps nothing ever will...
