I'm running OS 9.1 on a PM 7300. A friend just gave me a floppy which I
believe was formatted (on a Mac Powerbook) as a DOS disk. My machine
tells me that it is unreadable. Does anybody have any idea what gives?
I thought File Exchange would enable this disk to open up automatically?
Yes, it should. Possible problems include
* Your machine doesn't have the File Exchange control panel installed
or turned on. Check also that the appropriate extensions are
installed.
* Your drive (or their drive) has an alignment problem
* It's a floppy disk, they hardly ever work properly anyway
* It's the wrong floppy disk
Have fun,
Shay
