Hi all, I have a few concerns here - wanted to ask the Mac geeks amongst us
OK, so Steve (reality distortion boy) says that come new year, all Macs will not be able to boot directly into OS9...but only through OSX and the dropout to classic? Is that right? So, if I buy a new Mac in feb...I have to boot straight into OSX - is that correct? and I have no choice about that? is it likely that there will be an easy method for me to bypass this and boot into my OS of choice or is it likely that I am stuck with Uncle Steve's vision? thoughts? TIA Stewart PS. I wonder if this thought has occurred to others who intend to keep using their machines productively - could this be a potential problem for Apple in terms of long-term (but nervous) users come next year? -- Stewart Woods
