I am trying to track down where Eudora 5.2 stores information, particularly the ADDRESS BOOK data. The file "Eudora Nicknames" in the Eudora folder contains just the aliases and their corresponding email addresses which is readable in Excel. I can not for the life of me find where other address and phone number information that I have entered is stored. Help please! Severin Crisp
If you open the Nicknames file in a text editor like BBEdit or BBEdit Lite you'll see lines of the form
note Jane <name:Jane><phone:123456><first:Jane <last:Doe><id:10294366><change:0>
Each of the fields appears to be delimited by angle brackets with the fieldname before the colon.
