I wonder if you are in denial like I was....for months I suffered with my mouse sticking, freezing everything. I'd reboot and it would be fine for a while....I even tried disconnecting the mouse at times of freeze, plugging it in again to find it would work again without a reboot, albeit sluggish. I tried another mouse and that was fine but it had this really loud click so I told myself whatever had been wrong was ok now and went back to the old one. Yes the freezes started again....I had to accept my mouse had alzheimers and needed to be retired.
