Mail merge in AWK 6

On three separate occasions I have asked for comment about MailMerge 
in Appleworks 6.2.2 - in particular not being able to see the data in 
the wordprocessing document, only the field name.

My question was whether what I was getting was the only display 
possible or was I overlooking something.

I have had no response. Is AWK6.2.2 such a beast that no one is 
using it or is my question too trivial to be worthy of a response?
