Actually, the way it is these days, the resellers get notified *after* everyone
else.

Whenever there's an update to Apple's product range, the info and pricing is on
the Australian AppleStore web site straight away (ie night time here, daytime
in America).

I saw the price changes at about midnight last night. This morning the
resellers were notified of the price changes.

So the end user customers get to find out these things *before* the resellers
do!

Regards,
Phil

>No! We find out the day Apple tells the rest of the world. As you can imagine,
>we sometimes get some 'terse' people on the phone who bought new Macs a couple
>of days before announcments. That's Apple's policy, and we all live with it :-)

>(And if anyone bought a Powerbook/iBook last week, we didn't know the price
>was going to drop!!!!!!)
