you can also get car stereos with front-panel audio inputs, so you can plug in directly. Also available are cassette adaptors which are basically a casstte-shaped object with a cable coming out that plugs into the ipod. The unit transfers the signal to the cassette players' playback head.

You can get FM Transmitters that plug into the headphone jack of the iPod. Just tune your radio to the same station, and ta da! iPodFM - no ads, no crap music! (The way radio *should* be :-) )
