I am running 10.2.6 and Mail 1.2.5
Mail opens and gets the mail fine but when I touch the menu bar
anywhere from the apple to the flag it "unexpectedly quits".
Funny thing is when I log in as administrator it works fine.
I have borrowed another copy of Mail 1.2.5 and dragged into the apps
folder and removed the old one and exactly the same happens.
The only thing I am doing diffently and which may or may not be
related is that I responded to 2 Norton Systemworks 2.0.0 complaints
about security
weaknesses and let Nortons fix them. I don't remember what they were but I had
been getting themessages for a long time whenever I started up.
It sounds like Nortons 'fixed' some of your privileges. You may want
to run Apple's Disk Utility's "Repair Disk Permissions" over the
drive.
