I've resurrected my old Bigpond Account and am about to get back on the net (dialup) with my 14 inch 700Mhz iBook (been living in a caravan with no phone access for 3 years).
The last time I was connected to the net at home I was using a G3 iMac using OS 9. I think from memory I was using NewsWatcher to read the newsgroups, but I can't remember what the email application was. Can anyone advise what the best Mac newsgroup and email programs are these days (especially when using Bigpond)? I'm running on OS X 10.2.6 but can boot up from OS X 10.1.4 and OS 9. I'll download Safari as soon as I connect. Richard Kay.
