Pay very careful attention to the names of the files on the CD. If they
contain any characters which are illegal in Windows the files will not
open. One of the most common problems is the use of the "/" character.
Mac users love putting dates in their filenames using the slash as a
separator, and Windows will not tolerate this.
There are other characters which are illegal as well (a comprehensive
list of which escapes me for the moment) but the slash is the most
common culprit.
The only illegal filename character on the Mac is the colon.
Technically, in MacOS X the slash is also illegal, but MacOS X
generally converts this internally to a hyphen. Windows doesn't.
