To list owner ?

The Warning messages are a method of the CGPro List server of maintaining
the subscribers. When a 'non-fatal' bounce arrives back to the mailing
list server, it has a function to send out a Warning message to prompt the
subscriber to respond. (You should also set the suspended time to the
minimum 1 hour). I think it also generates the message when the list is
"Cleaned" every set period of time, hence the multiple occurances.

I believe it is a (very) broken function, and unfortunately on the CGPro
List server it does not have an OFF option. We have placed a system wide
rule to trap the messages going out, so that no one sees them. They serve
no real purpose as the 'bounce' is still counted, so the list is still
maintained. Over several weeks we have a count of about 16,000.

Other things to trigger problems, are non-compliant server response from
the many various mail servers out there.
We had customers on 6 different lists, so they used to get multiple Warning
messages. Annoying!

Mark Scholmann
