Hi All,

I have found that the only problem that I have found with my ibook (well OSX
actually) is that they haven't done anything about the printing
situation..unless I am missing something.

I am trying to print to a Kyocera FS-1000 which is connected to a windows
machine on our network and is shared. I have tried using print centre and
the CUPS http page and I am not getting anywhere. I have downloaded the
drivers from Kyocera and installed them and I seem to be able to actually
get the drivers happening in print centre but they don¹t even show up in the
CUPS admin page. I also can't seem to find any smb sharing options, but I
set it up using smb:// anyways and that doesn't work either.

On a parallel note my linux desktop is able to browse the shares on the same
windows machine but my ibook can't. I can see quite a few other shares on
the network and I am able to get other windows PC's to see my shares but I
can't with this PC? I am also printing perfectly from my linux desktop using
the same CUPS admin page??

Before you ask, yes both my linux desktop and ibook are connected through
the exact same network infrastructure.

Any Ideas??

Adam.
