I have two Epson USB printers connected to my G4/400 with Panther and
both print perfectly. However, despite my having only added each to
the printer list once, they are both listed twice with slightly
different names and in ColorSync profiles dialog each printer shows
up four times though the paths given for the various paper profiles
all trace back to the same two plugins, one for each printer. Is
there a reason for/cure for/problem with this untidy situation?
I am tempted to delete both printers from the printer list and throw
away the relevant preference files but hesitate. Advice welcomed!
