Hi, My computer is a 8600 with a G3 450 processor and I'm running OS 9.1.
I just recently obtained a new external Firewire 120 Gig HD and got the system to initialize it but when I try copying something to it the copying stops/freezes after a few files and I'm forced re-boot. Which would be the best application to initialize/format the drive? I'm assuming that is the problem although FWB (4.5.2) did a successful read/write performance check, the copying trouble started after I tried to use Norton (6) to do a performance check but it came up complaining about the drive becoming disconnected or some such thing and froze forcing me to re-boot. I hadn't tried copying anything to it prior to using either Norton or FWB. Any suggestions? Thanks Brian
