I'm using iTunes on a PowerBook 1400, which is running 8.6, and was discontinued before USB was invented (not quite :-), so that doesn't look right... Disclaimer: To make it run under 8.6 I needed to use an older version of iTunes, and use a patcher that I found online so iTunes wouldn't complain that it was running under an older system version. (I do recall having to update QuickTime and doing some other magic - it was a while ago.)
