Has anyone had any problems after running YASU?
It may be coincidence, but after I ran it I had trouble sending (but
no trouble receiving) email, and after the second time I ran it the
battery in my PowerBook wouldn't hold its charge.
I'm using a G3 PowerBook 400 (Firewire), OS 10.2.8
I installed YASU about 10 days ago and have used it three times. It
certainly clears out the caches!
Since then I've been having trouble with sending email attachments when
running OS 10.2.8. The messages go out OK but PDF attachments don't
send.
It might just be a problem with sending to non Mac computers but I
doubt it. I tried resending twice to a client yesterday
and finally sent them as jpegs which worked fine. No problems receiving.
I'm also having a problem with my monitor suddenly deciding to switch,
off -the computer is still running but I cannot restart the monitor
without shutting down and rebooting.
This has happened twice when I've selected "Save" and I consequently
lose my work -GRRHHH!!!
I'm running a G3 Mini -Tower -OS 10.28. / OS 9.2.1.
OS 9.2.1 works fine but I use 10 for internet as I really like
Mail/Safari/Address Book/iCal.
My ageing G3 definitely struggles with 10 and I'll be upgrading when
finances permit but till then -- Ho Hum!
