Hello Everyone, Does anybody know please ?
Trashing from a Floppy or External Scsi Hard drive is actioned by dragging the required items to the Trash can and then Empty Trash.
Subsequently the Drive space is made vacant and appears as available free space on the drive.
So i used the same technique ( or so I thought ) on an external Firewire Drive.
It was an 77 formatted Gig drive and after total trash of all on the drive the available space was about 27 Gig ! ?????
I recovered this by reformatting, but obviously do not want a repetition.
There is a possibility that some was trashed through OSX rather than OS9.1
but other than that for the present I have no clues why 1 ANYBODY, please ? Bob
