In the Print dialog, click on the "Copies and Pages" popup menu. One of
the menu items is "Output Options". Choose this, and you will see a
checkbox which, when clicked, allows you to save the print job to a
file. Your options are PDF (as if there weren't already enough ways to
save as a PDF) or Postscript. This gives you the same functionality as
the Chooser.
