Bill, It sounds like your SystemWorks CD has an old version of OS X, hence you can't boot from the CD on the newer PB and iMac's. What to do, well you should contact Symantec's Customer Service and request a replacement CD, which has been updated with a later version of OS X. However, it should install OK, but make sure you run Live Update to get latest version of the apps.
