Hi folks, I now have my new eMac (still in box at this stage). Just looking for some advice on transferring my data files from my old iMac 266 (OSX 10.1.5) to the new beast. I have purchased an ethernet transfer cable in order to do this.
I believe I simply need to do the following, but would appreciate any input if there is more I should know. Turn on Appletalk on both Macs. Turn on File Sharing on old Mac. Click GO on new Mac and then click CONNECT TO SERVER. PS: Also, where do I find Appletalk and where do I find File Sharing ? -- Regards, Stephen Chape
