Ah! What a cool site.
I'll think I'll turn on my se/30 or Mac plus on for some memories.
When things where just simple.
I would love to go back in time and start the Macintosh journey all
over
again.
Yeah! One 400k floppy drive. System on one floppy, compiler on
another, project on a third. Compile the project. Spend 20 mins
swapping floppies. Fun.... :-)
Rob
Wow, 20 minutes, who'd have thought?.......
BTW, if anyone has no use for a USB floppy drive they have, I may be
interested if the price is good.
Also I have a 'working' Macintosh SE, Model No: M5011.
If someone has an actual need/use/love for one of these (aside from me
uselessly storing it) let me know and you may talk me out of keeping
it.
It was an orphan on the side of the road some years back and has a few
apps and Control Panels installed, including ClarisWorks, MS Works and
Word 4.
Everything the WebSE offers and more, without the need for a pesky
Internet connection! I'll even throw in a formatted floppy disk ;)
Cheers
Paul
