Bart, I've got Panther running on a 400MHz G3 PowerBook (Wall St). 384MB RAM. No speed demon, but it goes. I mainly use it for PowerPoint presentations. I prefer my G4 933MHz and lust after a dual processor G5 <sigh>
I don't know how you would go with a 233 G3 - if it runs at all, it may a tedious experience.
