Hi.At the moment I am considering my options in regard to macs which I think are more user friendly/flexible in use for my work. The usual problem of course is pcs versus apple ( which most staff are un familiar with.)The environment is one(that is inhouse) where networking is achieved through a vpn.most access via ibm thinkpads or ibm pcs.The set up and programs are basically geared towards a more ibm based environ.I can see no distinct and specific reason why I need to use ibm equipment.I can access all access based databses via the existing desktop pcs.I should surely be able to configure for email on this network(I hope). Is there something I am perhs not considering in choosing the right option.Secondly should it be a powerbook solution or an i book ( I have to of course justify budget restrictions) Any opinions welcome.Thanks.
