Hello All --

-- I also used to use DiskDoubler (with a 'k') and occasionally need to
resurrect an old compressed file. DiskDoubler used to have a menu bar available
(using INITs), but that doesn't work with OS 8.? or later. But it has always
worked for me if opened as
an application and then instructed to decompress a particular file, as least
with 9.1.

-- I have also noticed that Stuffit will open some DiskDoubler compressed
files, so you might try that if you have it.
