I have VPC 5.0 installed in OS 9.2.2. It runs reasonably well.
I now use OS X.3.3 and would like to be able to run VPC through
Classic. But when I open it I remain in OS X and it asks for my
identity and password which it rejects.
Is there any way I can force it to run through Classic?
Originally I installed it in OS X.1 so it could be used in either OS
X or 9, as per the instructions, but it did not run properly in
either OS. I had installed it on a separate partition so I wiped it
clean. Then I tried to re-install in OS 9 but the installer thought
it was already installed. I had to re-install OS 9 and start again.
It was such a bore that I prefer not to try re-installing in OS X if
I can avoid it.
