I have a eMac for sale - 800Mhz G4, 60Gb, 512Mb RAM and a Superdrive (DVD burner) With all original CDROM's plus 10.3 Updater, keyboard and mouse.
The only problem is that there is a problem with the analog board. The screen sometimes is OK, other times it shrinks, moves and is unstable. Apple quote a figure to replace that is not viable to do so... Accordingly I am either going to sell "as, is" or pull it apart and sell bits on eBay (I presume). It is therefore offered here to the best offer but if no one is interested, I will pull it apart. Why would you want to buy it ? - Well, if you use the $45 Apple adapter, you could plug in a standard monitor and it would be perfectly usable (just not a "all in one" anymore !) The main display would mirror to the other monitor but without the defects... If you are knowledgable, you may be able to repair it... Alternatively, you could use it as a cheap server... The mind boggles but as it is now a spare anyway, I don't need it now ! Please feel free to email me off list ! Mark PS.
