This is one for those 'who can remember'.
Recently I cranked up my original Newton 100 (?). It is still
working well with the exception of writing recognition.
When I write a word or note, Newton reads it as either a day or a
month without exception. For example if I write 'help' Newton thinks
I wrote 'Sept'. 'house' is 'Thurs' , 'doors' is read as 'Aug' and
so on. However, when I write a word in the 'Assist' box, Newton
reads it perfectly.
So I am looking for some retro help out there in WAMUG land.
