I guess one thing you can do is make the Base Station only connect to
airport cards that it knows the MAC address of (like a ID number for your
airport card).  Within the Airport Base Station Utility, you can tell your
Base Station to only connect to cards that MAC addresses are listed.

Furthermore, you can also start WPA (as long as you are running 10.3, and
have an Extreme Base Station or Airport Express).  Reduces the amount of
people you can have connected, but obviously that little more secure.

BTW, you must have a good range in your house for Airport!  I'm lucky to get
outside of my little unit!
