I'm not sure exactly what your asking here.
Are you having trouble getting it to work at all or just at a desired
resolution?
If your having trouble with resolutions then you need to find out what
your max resolution for your graphics card is.

I have a LG 48 inch plasma TV. Model RT-50PZ 45V
I have connected my Mac G5 1.6GHz sys 10.3.6 to it using the DVI
cable.
I only have a LG PDP50K driver showing in my Displays Preferences
which has a maximum display
of 1280 x 1024 ( stretched picture in the middle of my screen.)
The plasma manual only goes to a maximum of 1280 x 1024 connecting to
a PC.
The plasma would make a big working area if I could use all of it.
