Hi, Seasons Greetings to all Wamug, My parents in Sydney are attempting to get on broadband, and due to limitations and restrictions at their Unit, are limited to Bigpond cable. They already have Foxtel which is at one end of the house from their study where they have the iBook and printer at the moment.
They have an iBook with internal wireless airport card. The intention is use the wireless connection to surf the net because they can't lay any more cable internally (strata title restrictions). I understand that telstra are to supply a Motorola cable wireless modem router tomorrow. I have checked the archives and looked at Oz cable guy. Does anyone else have further experience of this set up and any guidance which I could pass onto my very inexperienced parents - or at least the right questions to ask of the Telstra guy when (if) he arrives on Monday. Hopefully someone can assist. TIA Mike Anderson
