You might try a judicial burst of CRC (or similar) silicon spray on 
the hinge. It has a fine nozzle for very localised application. It 
seems to solve most problems.

Lately the lid/screen of my 15" PowerBook (dream machine) has become 
stiff and creaks when I close it. In fact it is becoming noticeably 
tight and creaky.

Does anyone have a remedy or suggestion please? Ronni
