OK all you macafiles :)
I am SERIOUSLY considering taking the plunge :)
I am sure that I can figure out how to get AVRGCC to work under OSX (I
will be using my G3 (with extra RAM and a 20Gb local HDD as well as
storage space on my FreeBSD servers))
So I now need to fine the following software:
FPGA tools for the XILINX Spartan 3
EDA Tools (I think Eagle can do OsX need to re check and check pricing
as it was around au$2K last time I checked)
Office Tools does OsX have Open Office ?
What other goodies does it have that will make it easier to turn this
WINTEL box into another FreeBSD server and buy a Mac ?
