I've been trying to view the quicktime video of the 1984 Mac intro and
have had huge amounts of trouble with it jamming.
It starts off ok, but runs about 4mm along the track and stops. From
there I have to coax it along by either holding down the fast forward
button or running it backward and forward to make it progress at all.
Progression is in mm or parts of a mm each time, which can take up to
30 min before reaching the end and being able to play the complete
message.
I have a G5 200 dual, but also had the same problem on my blue G3. I am
now using Firefox, but was using OE. The version of Quicktime is 6.5.2
and it came with my G5.
Can anyone please enlighten me on what the problem might be, and how I
can fix it.
