Fingers crossed this goes through and iTMS can *finally* open up
shop here in Australia! And I can stop breaking the law when I tape
the West Wing, as it is on at such a stupid time of the night :-)
Or indeed, not at all last night :)
Really, I doubt this has anything to do with the iTMS delays.
Otherwise, if they were really concerned about it Apple would have
said "Sorry, can't sell iPods in Australia, they're illegal". Not to
mention any company selling video recorders...
It is nice that copyright law in Australia might catch up with 30
years or so of technological progress, provided it then doesn't go
and do something stupid as we're seeing happening in the US.
