Hi Michael,

Try turning off "Block Pop-up Windows" in Safari.
(I've just tried this and had the same issue you had until I turned off this option).

I guess there's a redirect in place on the login page in preparation for the "new Internet Banking Log on page"
< http://www.anz.com.au/aus/promo/IBLogon/default.asp>
and that the way it's implemented is being stopped by Safari's settings.
