most (all?) of the cheap/mid range LCD monitors have SVGA plugs
(infact some of the dirt cheap LCDs we have been buying here ONLY
have SVGA) so they should work with the G3 which, . I think the
second release G4 towers (Sawtooth) being the first with AGP and
having the optional Pro version video card were the first Apples
with DVI interfaces (BIMBW)....
You'd only need an adaptor if you get something like the Apple
displays that only have DVI conectors
Hi everyone,
Thanks to Rod I have a great G3 300mhz tower for my wifes dance
studio. I need to connect a monitor to it. I'd like to get a flat
screen and only need a 15" or 17" but don't know whether I can
successfully do it. Either that or if someones got an old crt to
sell that'll do. I saw a PC monitor connecter (heaven help me!) on
eBay; is that advisable?
Any help would be good. Thanks!
Regards Chris Griffiths
