Where have the images come from? Images for printing need to be
prepared and treated especially -- you'll get bad results if you use
screen-quality images. At the very least, you'll need to have your
original images captured at a decent "resolution" ("dots per inch") --
e.g. 180dpi or above, depending on the printing circumstances (e.g.
paper stock, photos or line art, etc).

You've probably reduced the resolution to 72dpi somewhere along the line
-- better to print directly from InDesign.
