The Billion 5100 seems to work just fine and it's very affordable. I
did read on the whirlpool forums that it wouldn't be compatible with
ADSL 2 + which is the next step up providing speeds of up to 32 Mb/sec
(from memory) but since speed is dependant on your phone line it might
not matter.
I'm on the 8 Mb/sec plan getting a download connection of around 2
Mb/sec and a upload of 730 kb/sec (according to my system status for
the router).
I also happen to be very close to the exchange.
The full 8 Mb/sec would be nice but 2 Mb/sec works great anyway.... Now
all I have to do is find the patience for my G5 to arrive.

So, from this point I would be seeking advice from techs at iiNet,
goodluck!
Personally I would be annoying iiNet to firstly get on their iiNet
Dslams and take it from their.
A bit more info about ADSL2

Dear WAMUGgers
We're looking for a good adsl2 modem/router for our Mac network. It
doesn't need to be wireless as we have an AirPort Extreme Base
Station. What are your recommendations?
We're about to get into iiNet Broadband2 and iiNet's DLink DSL504G is
not adsl2 compatible. adsl2 is coming this year so we might as well
buy the latest and best.
Many thanks
