I am having problems burning a Video TS file to a DVD-R disc using
Toast 6.0.7 and now the 6.0.9 upgrade...
This has never been an issue in the past and have used it on this
machine for quite some time very successfully...
Using iMac G4/1.25 with 1GB RAM and running 10.3.8.
The problem is:
I put in the Video TS file into Toast and proceed to burn and I don't
even hear the disc spin up. The program says it is writing the 'lead
in' for the video but no progress is made and I get an error message
saying:
"The drive reported an error:
Sense Key = MEDIUM ERROR
Sense Code = 0x73, 0x03"
As this information means nothing at all to me I am hoping that
somewhere in the vastness of knowledge in WAMUG someone may be able to
shed some light...
I have tried different Video TS files and the DVD burner works using
iDVD making slideshows etc so I know the drive works.
Any help would be much appreciated,
