Yes, it is actually ;-) GIMP-Print was created to be the print subsystem of the GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program -- in case you were wondering what the unfortunate and weird acronym *meant*). GIMP-Print proved so useful as a system of flexible, good quality printer drivers that it's been available separately for use with CUPS (the print system in MacOS/X and Linux systems) for some time now. -- Craig Ringer
