I am chasing some advise regarding a particularly unstable installation
of Office 2004 and Endnote 8 - on a one week old 15inch PB 1.67GHz
running 10.3.8.
Office is the latest version with the updates, clean install has been
done.
The report I am writing freezes Word every minute of so sometimes more
often despite doing the rtf save and resave as word doc trick! Seems
more stable on new documents but still freezes occasionally.
Installed this update as Office X and endnote 7 were not working as
smoothly as with Endnote 6 on my 17in G4 imac (occasional freezes) - a
luxury compared with the latest software iteration!
The rest of the machine seems stable though the battery full charge
only lasts 2 hours and 45min.
