Hi all,

Can anyone offer any enlightenment on this situation?

"I read some where that the recent update to the iMovie 5 and idvd
enabled features for the support of reburning dvdrw's on some of the
old superdrives . (whereas at time of sale apple said this feature was
not supported ).

I have a powerbook 1.25 ghz . 15" model superdrive .
I have found i can burn a fresh dvdrw successfully, however toast will say
it can erase the data on these written discs
but if you try to burn an "erased" disc you will get errors."

Any help greatly appreciated - cheers.

I seem to recall that Toast offers two methods of erasing a disk, fast (for burning in Toast only) or complete. Try using the complete (and long :) method.

Have fun,
Shay
