WestNet have got back to me with these comments:

Well, we didn't get all the results we wanted, but at least WestNet
are hearing us, and are trying to look after Mac Users. Which is a
lot better than most ISP's.
I have asked for a reply to our Craig Ringer's comments on the Flash
on 'My Place' & CPU usage.
I will 'keep on our case' with WestNet Management. I have a 'healthy
repose' with them.
